about

Meet the person behind the camera and in front of the ideas that will lead your brand to grow with omoladéb.

Translating the power of imagery into authenticity, trust, and wealth for your brand.

Omoladé Bangudu (she/her) is a Nigerian-British-American product photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. She’s the founder of omoladéb [oh-mo-lah-day-bee], a namesake photography company specializing in lifestyle, clothing, accessories, and home decor products.

Omoladé sits at the intersection of photography, advertising, and communications. She’s spent 3+ years building media strategies for a variety of clients, as well as leading marketing efforts for a non-profit organization. She’s spent even longer preserving her passion for still-life photography.

2020 contained a whirlwind of global events, but through it all, Omoladé noticed two things when the call to support small businesses grew louder:

  1. Strong brand imagery wasn’t common to see compared to the strong call to support these businesses.

  2. The number of Black photographers in the product photography niche was minuscule.

Statistically, Black people only made up 8% of photographers in the U.S. during 2019. And in her own experience, Omoladé saw the majority of black photographers occupying portrait, wedding, and/or fashion photography spaces, which meant even less in the product space.

This was the beginning of omoladéb.

Omoladé's truth is this: beautiful things are born out of authenticity, representation, and faith. Creativity and strategy don’t hurt either. ✨
